Lyrics

Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

Why do stars fall down from the sky
Every time you walk by?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

Karen Carpenter’s matchless voice has the quality of taking you back to a sweeter, simpler, a more beautiful time of life. This song became the Carpenter's break-through hit and shared with the world their unique sound.

When you feel “drawn to someone", there is a feeling, sort of like a magnetic pull towards an individual. You may not know why. Some people say there are pheromones, that cause an attraction to someone. You are being led by biochemical means toward another individual. I think sometimes you just “sync" with someone. You are drawn in to their stream of concious being. You feel them, even if they are far away. You feel an emotional tug in their direction. This is like trying to walk against the wind, to ignore the feeling of being drawn to someone. There is sometimes a feel of “I know this person", even if you don't. When you are drawn to someone, the feelings are immediate and loud inside of you. That sure is a strong and warm reaction. There is a tight yet invisible connection, that is hard to deny. This is an intense and gorgeous feeling. The feeling is similar to going home in your head and soul. You are drawn to them, like a destination.

Lyrics

On the day that you were born the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold
And starlight in your eyes of blue

Such a beautiful compliment, that the angels created a dream come true when you were born! This endearing sentiment is a home run!

Let’s talk about energy sharing. All types of communication begin with your comfort. When you are comfortable energy flows through you. Ideas, love and spirit flows through you and people can feel it. We recognize that animals can sense certain energies and people are the same way. When we get tense, other people sense it and react. People wonder if they need to fight, or flight or be involved in drama. People don’t want to work hard to enjoy your company. Get comfortable, your comfort will lead to their comfort.

Think about this…

Do you remember being completely drawn to your sweetheart?

What was it about them that compelled you to them?

Will you remind them about this today?
